LSRI Director Featured as Keynote Speaker at Religion and Climate Change conference

Prof Celia Deane-Drummond is among the keynote speakers at the upcoming conference No Plan(et) B or Paradise: Religion and Climate Change in the Netherlands and Beyond, taking place in Utrecht.

Held on on 9-10 October, the conference explores how religious beliefs, values, and institutions can influence climate action and ethics, highlighting both the Dutch context and the broader international dimensions of how spirituality intereacts with climate change narratives. The conference is organised by the Religion and Climate Change in the Netherlands group, with the support of NWO and Tilburg University. For more information, read more here.

As a keynote speaker, Deane-Drummond will deliver a public lecture and discussion titled Environmental Activism and Theological Transformation, presenting the key outcomes of the newly published report "Religion, Theology and Climate Change."
