About: What is care for creation according to Catholicism and what does this care require from us? This lecture will examine the account of creation offered within Catholic theology and applied within the Catholic social teaching tradition. It will argue that in important respects this leads to an ethic of creation care that is distinct from a 'modernist' account of nature.
In contrast, Catholicism recasts environmentalism through the articulation of an integral ecology—one that integrates care for the earth and for one another into our love of God.
