This is a recording of the "Realistic Hope: Theological Ethics and Conservation Practice" celebration event on 23 June, which took place at Pembroke College as well as streamed online.

The event featured lectures by Professor Lisa Sowle Cahill (Boston College) on "Realistic Hope in Apocalyptic Times: The Ecological Challenge to Catholic Social Teaching" and Dr Enric Sala (Global Conservation Project, National Geographic) on "The Nature of Nature: Why We Need the Wild". It also included poetry readings by Professor Peter Davidson from Campion Hall, University of Oxford. His Eminence, Michael Cardinal Czerny offered a short response to Prof Cahill’s paper.
