Nikhil is in the second year of the MPhil - Development Studies at the Department of International Development. His research focuses on the politics and political economy of large-scale renewable energy transitions in India where he specifically focuses on solar energy projects. Nikhil holds an honour's bachelor of arts from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario in Canada where he researched on water security. In addition to his academic interests, Nikhil helps in leading nonprofits in North America focusing on speech and music, is an avid practitioner and researcher of North Indian classical music, and is also a recent fellow at the Global Leadership Initiative housed at the University of Oxford.
