Toward Care for the Earth and Care for the Poor
With a team of researchers based at the University of Oxford, and supported by a programme of visiting and affiliated scholars, we engage in original research, teaching and writing. Our work ranges across a series of research clusters, enabling us to focus in an integrated way on themes related to the global socio-ecological crisis.
All our work is transdisciplinary, meaning it incorporates a wide range of disciplinary perspectives, from theology to anthropology, and from geography to international development. We are especially committed to ensuring our research includes the wisdom of indigenous traditions and marginalized voices. We also seek to orientate our research towards practice, ensuring it is connected to the world's needs.
